Oberlin Trombone Choir
Zoe Cutler has written several arrangements for the Oberlin Trombone Choir, of which she was also a member. Their album, Oberlin Trombone Choir in Concert, exclusively features Cutler's arrangements of Classical and Romantic-era works. The album is composed of three suites: "Debussy, Two Preludes," "Chopin Suite for Trombone Choir," and two selections from Mozart's Requiem. The Oberlin Trombone Choir is directed by Professor Lee Allen.
Music for Brass
Music for Brass is a compilation of Zoe Cutler's arrangements and compositions for various brass ensembles.
Romanian Folk Dances is a well-known orchestral and piano piece by Béla Bartok. Here it is adapted as Romanian "Funk" Dances, a collection of folk melodies in Latin Jazz styles. Performed by the Oberlin Brass Ensemble under the direction of Michael Roest.
Zoe Cutler composed her Klezmer Suite for performance at trumpeter Nik Valinsky's soloist recital. The Brass Queertet, of which both Valinsky and Cutler are members, performs this work, which draws from traditional Jewish melodies.
